There is a distinct advantage to buying from a local vendor. Buying it local lends to the freshness and unfiltered natural flavors you get from the food. This is true with California olive oils as well. Since they are not shipped from another country, the taste is much fresher. This sample basket is a great way to try a wide variety of oils.
